Opportunity Description:

We are seeking a full-time CAD Drafter to join our team. This individual will utilize computer-aided design software to create 2D and 3D models of parts and equipment.

Accountabilities:

· Draft and draw designs using Solidworks and CAD

· Meet with engineers to review blueprints and design drawings.

· Input design specifications into the CAD software.

· Create surface and solid CAD models according to client specifications.

· Work with a design team and individually on CAD projects.

· Stay up to date on all trends and advancements in material and software technologies.

· Utilize large databases of material property information to best select materials for modeling.

· Execute engineering change requests to improve product quality.

· Create assembly documentation from CAD drawings.

Skills and Experience:

· 1+ years experience drafting

· Associate degree or equivalent experience.

· Firm grasp of mathematics, engineering, and industry information.

· Advanced knowledge of Solidworks; CAD and AutoCAD software;

· Ability to read, translate, and create blueprints and technical drawings.

· Knowledge of component design for manufacturability in machining centers.

· Basic understanding of building design and mechanical processes.

· Ability to work as part of a team and individually on projects.

· Excellent communication and time management skills.
