The Executive Assistant Role:
The Executive Assistant will play a key role in managing administrative task of the leadership team; with primary focus on the President of Particle Measuring Systems.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee complex travel arrangement (national and international) for the President and other leaders as necessary.
- Prepare and present reports for the leaders on a regular basis.
- Take detailed and accurate notes during meetings.
- Heavy calendar and email management for the President.
- Preparing presentations, correspondence, and other various materials as requested.
- Handle and have access to highly confidential and sensitive materials
- Coordinate regular leadership meetings
- Assisting with organization and preparation of materials needed for meetings (including ordering food, presentation set up, printing any materials, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned by leadership team.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in a legal, financial or investment banking environment
- 10+ years of experience with scheduling national and international travel arrangements, required
- 10+ years of executive calendar management
- Must be professional, poised, detail-oriented, highly organized, a self-starter, dependable, able to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent customer-service skills
- Must have excellent time-management skills
- Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment
- Must be able to identify and solve problems independently
- Advanced proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email (preferably Gmail) as well as other technology (project management apps, etc.)
- Must have previous experience with BoD, investors, customers, and C-Level executives
- Previous experience in a mid-size company
- United States work authorization required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

This is an “in-office” position 100% of the time with Covid precautions being taken. The location of this position is in Boulder, CO

Pay Range
$46000 - 71000 depending upon experience
How we determine what we pay (compensation philosophy)
Particle Measuring Systems determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for the Boulder, Colorado area. We will evaluate external equity, which is the relative marketplace job worth of jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.
For new hires, we try to make competitive offers between the minimum and around the midpoint of the range. This allows the new employee room for future merit increases during review cycles. There may be times when we will offer above the midpoint. The decision to do so will be based on the applicant’s level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and the compensation rates of the employees within the company doing the same position.
