Main Deck, a stunning new restaurant on Keuka Lake in Penn Yan, NY, is conducting a search for Executive/Head Chef. Qualified candidates will have a post secondary education in the culinary arts and possess the requisite culinary expertise to create popular dishes, design menus, evaluate COGS for every menu item, manage kitchen labor costs, train cooks and maintain a clean and efficient kitchen. Key to the success of this position will be orienting seasonal menus to the changing tastes of the peak and off-peak seasonal customer base, designing menus to pair with local winery and craft beer offerings, designing menu selections that can be produced efficiently during peak seasonal cover volumes as well as for customized events, management of kitchen staff, maintenance of high kitchen standards, and communication/collaboration with front/back of the house staff.
