JOB PURPOSE:

The Field Service Technician is a member of our CashTech Team responsible for equipment deployments, installation, and on-going services. A Field Service Technician is a front-line representative for CashTech and responsible to provide professional and courteous customer service with quality workmanship.

Employee Responsibilities:

  • Represent CashTech in a professional manner while adhering to customer policies and procedures.
  • Interacting with Customers while providing the highest level of on-site service and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

· Responsible for first line maintenance of various equipment including but not limited to currency recyclers, drop safes, image scanners, printers, safe and Networked PC’s

· Adhere to escalation policies to ensure customer's SLA’s are met in a timely manner.

· Consistent, accurate, timely electronic service ticket maintenance

· Ability to communicate and participate as a team player

  • Communicating with Customer Care Centre to receive jobs and relaying job status upon completion of each service call.

· Identify business leads and promote growth for the company

· Assist Field Technicians to facilitate timely cost-effective repairs

  • Recognizing and securing additional revenue opportunities.
  • Provide on-site technical and operator training.
  • Manage trunk inventory with accuracy.

· Performing quarterly cycle counts of trunk inventory.

  • Diagnose, repair and adjust assemblies or subassemblies, restoring unit to functional standards.

Qualifications Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in assembly and/or repair of electro-mechanical components, including systems with medium or high voltages.
  • Clean criminal record check
  • Must be able to work from complex and detailed documentation and/or verbal and written instructions depending on situation.

· Ability to stand, sit, kneel or bend for extended periods. May need to stand for several hours at a time while working on a problem with a machine.

· Ability to lift a maximum of 75 lbs. There is no real lifting overhead however should be able to push upwards.

· Most lifting is at waist height or lower. Lifting is not for a long period of time - 30 seconds typical, 1-minute tops.

· Ability to use lift equipment, roll bars, and crowbars to install safes

· Ability to use power tools including but not limited to drills, hammer drills, etc. for securing equipment to concrete.

· Proficient in use of test equipment including digital multi meter and oscilloscopes

· Ability and willingness to take standby and call outs on scheduled weekends Strong computer skills. Comfortable with Microsoft office and cloud-based computing programs.

· Ability to communicate and function well in a mobile office setting.

· Valid driver’s license, Car and insurance required. ability to drive from customer site to customer site. Customer sites may be several hours apart, but technicians may stop and stretch if needed.
