Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the final inspection process. This position is responsible for giving rework instructions and doing hardware work. They will be responsible for the Hardware Department. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Job Essentials:

• Able to follow oral and written instructions utilizing the English language well enough to perform the essential duties of the job
• Ability to read and interpret documentation on safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manual
• Able to fill out company inspection and production documents
• Possess math skills for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing sufficient to perform the required tasks
• Must possess the dexterity to use the required tools to accomplish the tasks of the Hardware Department
• Must be able to hear with or without amplification devices
• Able to lift 100 pounds
• Has authority to give rework instructions

Job Duties/Competencies:

• Needs to have enough respect with the team to provide feedback
• Check parts against prints
• Able to complete inspection reports
• Must be able to validate all quality requirements by reviewing in process inspection, assembly and test records
• Maintain accurate records and other data as required

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in construction preferred

Working Conditions

For the most part the working environment is moderately loud, dusty and dirty, temperature ranges from cold to hot as found in typical production facilities. May be subject to an outdoor work environment with adverse conditions ranging from freezing cold and snow to severe heat and humidity.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, frequently walk and climb steps, use hands and fingers, reach, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, lift, crouch, work on a ladder, talk, hear and see.

Must be able to lift 100 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
