Hanwha, one of the largest multi-divisional corporations in South Korea, has acquired Cimarron Composites, Inc. of Huntsville, AL, and has built a new manufacturing facility in Opelika, AL.

Founded in 2015, Cimarron designs, manufactures, and tests composite pressure vessels for a variety of aerospace and industrial uses – including rockets (for NASA and SpaceX), submersibles, CNG tube trailers, and much more. We specialize in all types of composite pressure vessels for various industrial/storage uses, including hydrogen tube trailers, ultra-high pressure tanks for hydrogen filling stations, and individual tanks for hydrogen powered vehicles.

We’re adding talented individuals in key roles now in preparation for anticipated growth of the business. Come join us as we get ready for an exciting new adventure! We’re currently hiring for the role of Finance Specialist II, highlighted below:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and update company cash forecasting models including loan transactions.
• Analyze and reconcile sales transactions and accounts receivable.
• Control past due AR by regularly reviewing customer account data, contacting customers, and reviewing or documenting the financial situation, to ensure data is accurate, up-to-date and in compliance with company guidelines.
• Prepare monthly sales and use tax filings for all states, counties and cities.
• Prepare property tax return and 1099 tax return.
• Prepare PBC list for FET tax return and income tax return.
• Renew state, county, and city business licenses plus occupational licenses.
• Ensure all tax compliance for the company.
• Manage the insurance renewal process by researching and compiling data
• Assist in the development of integrated revenue/expense analyses and presentations.
• Assist manager with plant financial activities including GL accounting and reconciliations.
• Interface with outside CPA firms, banks, credit card companies, vendors, customers, and auditors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Analytics, or related field. (3-7 years' experience preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and practices to include internal controls and audit processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
