Job Description :

Purpose:

This role will develop and oversee the assignment of value to all assets. In addition, the role will be required to assess, interpret, advise, and report on risk coverage for said assets. The ideal candidate will have experience in asset accounting as well as insurance industry knowledge. The ideal candidate will also possess a high level of personal accountability, grit and be able to carry and implement vision.

Asset:

  • Asset Financial Tracking –Consolidate all asset financial information into one location
  • Develop and implement procedure to identify and post asset activity Acquisition, Payments, Repairs & Maintenance and Cashflow
  • Develop Asset Reporting for users, management, and CPA review
  • Asset Value Management –Calculate,record and track value of assets

Asset: amortization, depreciation, retirement, disposal, and capitalized repairs

Insurance:

  • Develop and engage in relationships with brokers and insurance companies
  • Review insurance contracts to determine if coverage is adequate for the risk being insured
  • Provide advice regarding coverage options based on risk tolerance and financial goals
  • Calculate insurance claims, payments, premiums, and other figures
  • Add and remove assets from policies
  • Perform annual, quarterly, and monthly insurance audit
  • Track billed premiums against assets and provide reporting
  • Analyze insurance data to determine trends and evaluate cost effectiveness of contracts
  • Develop procedures and streamline processes for risk management

Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
  • Industry knowledge of insurance trends, regulations, and laws.
  • Work experience in asset accounting or similar
  • Working knowledge of Excel including use of formulas (VLOOKUP, if functions, etc.), pivot tables, charts and graphs, and ability to sort and analyze data sets to identify errors in data entry
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to interpret data, find solutions and present it to management to make informed decisions
  • Positive attitude that embraces vision, mission, and beliefs of the Company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Remote/Hybrid Schedule will be available after training period.

Flexible start between 7am-9am

Travel required, 1 time in each quarter

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
