MN Mental Health Consulting is an outpatient mental health clinic providing therapy to teens and adults in Edina.

We are seeking a full time Clinical Supervisor (BBHT or BMFT) to supervise practicum students at our Edina office. The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the management team and reports to the Clinic Director.

Requirements:

• Three years of clinical practice as an LMFT or LPCC
• Fully unrestricted license
• Must have completed Approved Supervisor designation (BMFT or BBHT) by June 2023.
• Must have a clearly defined theoretical orientation with an interest in professional growth and teaching new professionals in the field of counseling
• Must have a vision of ideal client population
• Excellent verbal and written communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent documentation skills
• Must pass background check per MN law.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide 12-15 hours of therapy per week to the clinical population of your interest
• Complete diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries and other associated paperwork in a timely and professional manner.
• Supervise the work of two or more intern practicum students which will be done by live observation, individual and group consultation and documentation review
• Oversee the work of clinical interns to ensure compliance with graduate programs, MN Board rules, and professional associations (AAMFT/ACA)
• Provide feedback/review of work of clinical interns
• Be available in the office and/or by phone for clinical consultation as needed
• Teach and implement policies and procedures pertaining to the clinic's counseling services
• Meets regularly with the Clinic Director to share information regarding mental health services and review intern performance related to the clinical care of clients.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with providers and administrative staff
• Actively seek out and provide education opportunities.
• Responsible for the reputation of the agency through promoting ethical and high quality clinical work
• Comply with licensing board rules and AAMFT/ACA Code of Ethics
• Maintain continued education on best practices in supervision and clinical work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
