General Manager – Famous Bakery

Location: Washington, DC

Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 + 20% quarterly bonus potential + 3 Weeks PTO + 401k Company match + Full Healthcare

Who will you be working for?

Our client is a fun and well-known bakery brand that prides themselves on baking fresh food every day on site and delivering a quality product to customers that come from all over the world! They are searching for their next General Manager to take over their DC location, someone who has experience managing a volume operation and has a soft touch with both guests and employees. This person ideally comes from a similar bakery or fast casual model, has great job stability and is an engaged and empathetic leader.

What does the ideal General Manager look like?

• 3-5 years in a General Manager position within food service, preferably a fast casual, café or bakery model
• Prior high-volume experience will be essential
• Has a great grasp on manager administrative duties, including P&L, labour and food costing, projections, and scheduling
• Proven track record of developing employees in your team, whether from hourly team members to supervisors, or more experienced Assistant General Manager to General Managers
• Must possess a great attitude and a flexibility to be adaptable to changes on the fly
• A desire to actively contribute within the organization
