GROWER & ASSISTANT GROWER

As one of the largest growers in the United States, our mission is to produce high quality annuals/ perennials and Holiday plants. We are always looking for new employees who truly enjoy growing flowers on a commercial scale and are passionate about doing it with excellence!

We are currently looking for experienced, hands-on Growers or entry-level Assistant Growers to join our team at several of our commercial growing facilities (Mt. Carmel, PA Danville, PA Sun City, FL and Center Moriches, NY).

Our Growers are directly responsible for producing quality products in their assigned production area. Assistant growers offer growers support in the daily maintenance of plants throughout their production cycles.

Duties for Growers and Assistant Growers include, but are not limited to:

· Proper irrigation of crops

· Monitoring crops for growth, health, insects and diseases

· Fertilizer and nutrient management and application

· Crop record keeping and reporting crop development and any issues to Head Grower

· General housekeeping of the assigned greenhouse section

Qualifications needed:

For Growers, a minimum of 3 years commercial greenhouse growing experience is required

For Assistant Growers, some experience or a horticultural degree is required

A passion for growing floriculture products at a commercial level

Ability to accurately follow instructions and effectively communicate

Applicants must be able to:

· Be on your feet for 8+ hours each day

· Lift, carry, and move 25+ pounds

· Work in greenhouse environment with varying temperatures, dirt, dust, and other possible allergens

· Able and willing to work in a safety-controlled environment
