HR Manager (Onsite Full Time)

Up to $125,000 per year PLUS $5K signing bonus

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join a well-respected company in the Utica, NY area. This is an onsite full-time position and requires someone who is a self-starter and a good communicator.

As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR, including but not limited to ADP, recruiting, hiring, kaizen events, and negotiating contracts. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that all HR policies and procedures are compliant with the law.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of HR including recruitment, hiring, and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
  • Manage Union Relations for the site and find win-win solutions for the workforce and business
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers
  • Provide guidance and support to management on all HR-related matters
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on business initiatives
  • Participate in kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage the performance evaluation process for all employees
  • Maintain employee files and records

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, Master’s preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR management, including 2+ years in a union environment
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with ADP and other HR systems
  • Knowledge of operations and manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter and a good communicator
