Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the human resource functions of the company, as well as the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

· Assist with daily operations of the HR department

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the HR department and carries out administrative work involving the human resources functions and maintains related records.
  • Process employee information utilizing HRIS systems
  • Maintain record retention and document filling system utilizing Doc-Star
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • May develop and propose improvement to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of human resources and operations.
  • Participates and works with applicants in the onboarding process for hourly employees.
  • Coordinate and oversee New Employee Orientation
  • Track and monitor training progress for both clinical and non-clinical staff members in HRIS.
  • Assist HR Manager as needed
  • Protects the company’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Manage specific projects as determined by the Director of HR and HR Manager and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives
  • Demonstrates a high standard of professional conduct and ethical behavior
  • Performs other duties and project work as assigned

Education/Experience

· Bachelor’s or Associate degree, preferably with a focus in HR or an HR-related discipline

· 1-3years’ experience in Human Resources; onboarding experience highly preferred

· Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment/labor laws complying with EEO, FMLA U.S. and State of New Hampshire DOL

· Keen attention to detail, self-starter, and strong organizational skills

· Ability to prioritize work and multitask successfully

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality in all HR matters

· Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude, particularly in all employee facing situations

· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

· Advanced proficiency in MS Office (above average Excel skills)

· HR certification a plus

· HRIS (I-solved) experience a plus
