Job Description :

Position Summary: Responsible to plan and manage all activities related to employees including (but not limited to): recruitment, hire to retire process, compensation, benefits/insurance administration, employment law, employee handbooks, training/development, safety/workers compensation and employee relations.

  • Responsible for employee life cycle from recruiting to termination; including but not limited to, onboarding, training, evaluations, exit interviews, and off boarding.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Supports organization staff by establishing/maintaining a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
  • Coordinates with management on compensation structure by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training supervisors to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Implements employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits at the local level; acts as liaison between Stahl and Scott Fetzer.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
  • Manages all Workers’ Compensation activities and sits on safety committee.
  • Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures, including employee handbook.
  • Coordinate employee appreciation events, training, and philanthropic endeavors.

Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree
  • 5 years of human resources experience
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Proficient using MS Office software
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Patience, Diplomacy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
