Artificial Intelligence (AI) and engineering ingenuity is the backbone for an emerging technology-based company that gone from concept through R&D, commercialized, more than tripled in revenues in 2022, and will conservatively more than double revenues in 2023 due to pending contracts. This is an entrepreneurial and proactive setting that embraces excellence and challenges.

OPPORTUNITY: New role. Report to CEO and be part of the executive team. Must be vertical and build HR infrastructure from the bottom up while partnering on growth and evolution. We are looking for future VP and CHRO potential. Quick overview of role:

• Strategy: Partner with leadership on roadmap, business objectives, including organizational development, workforce planning, employee engagement, employee retention, compensation and benefits, employee development, and performance management.
• Recruiting & New Hire Activities: Lead recruiting and staffing efforts for the business from forecasting, through new hire onboarding through retention.
• Employee Relations: Serve as the subject matter expert for managers and employees.
• Engagement & Retention: Coach and support leadership in building a positive culture and hiring, retaining, and engaging a strong team
• Compensation & Benefits: Develop total compensation strategy and overall employee value proposition, establishing and aligning base and variable compensation and employee benefit programs with the company’s growth strategy.
• Payroll & HRIS: Supervise the administration of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payrolls in partnership with PPO.
• Talent Management: Drive talent management by administering regular performance reviews, designing career progression plans, facilitating performance improvement plans, coaching managers to effectively manage good and poor performance and leading the organization in the development of effective succession plans.
• Training: Develop and conduct continuous and effective training programs.
• Compliance: Develop and administer HR policies, practices, procedures, and programs

REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS required; MBA, PHR, or SPHR a plus. Seek HR generalist with most recent experience in a technology or engineering rich setting (e.g., biotechnology, medical device, robotics, pharma, sonar, web development, artificial intelligence). Must be viewed as a business partner and resource. Local candidates only.

REWARD: $150,000 to $180,000 DOE plus bonus, excellent benefits, stock options and upside to VP
