We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Immigration Paralegal that has at least 3 or more years of immigration law experience.

Job Description

Candidate will work remotely full-time. Must treat each immigration case as their own with a passion for customer service. Must be self-motivated and work well independently.

· Work with supervisor to oversee case management

· Prepare USCIS forms for cases such as: Asylum, Family Petitions, U-Visas, WAWA’s, H-Visas, K1 Visas and manage cases from A-Z

· Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the Immigration Court, BIA and 9th Circuit, when applicable

· Collect relevant information and documents in support of applications

· Fill out applications accurately and review for any errors prior to final attorney review and approval

· Must be familiar with EOIR and immigration court proceedings

· Manage and meet task deadlines

· Provide detailed notes in office case management system- DocketWise experience a plus

· Must be comfortable with a large caseload

· Contribute ideas to further grow and develop the department

Requirements

· Must be able to speak, read, and write Spanish fluently- No Exceptions

· 3-year immigration experience a must

· Focused in EOIR case management, with strong knowledge of USCIS cases and immigration law

· Ability to take initiative and problem solve.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent phone skills

· Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills

· Attention to detail.

· Interpersonal skills and customer service skills required.

· Computer Requirements: Ability to type at least 45 WPM, use of Google products and internet

· **Familiar with Docketwise a plus

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Must provide strong references as this is a remote position
