HUNT-EAS is seeking candidates for a qualified Information Technology Designer. This team member will plan, design, and specify various types of communication networks and solutions. The successful candidate will work on project planning, designing, scheduling and construction. As part of this process, HUNT-EAS assists clients with all aspects of planning and budgeting for a project. HUNT-EAS also offers a full range of engineering services to our clients so it will be important for this individual to work well in a team environment. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans, specifications, and models.

As member of a design team this individual will work on a variety of projects in the K-12 schools, municipal, healthcare, multi-family housing, and college and university markets. REVIT design software experience is desired. HUNT-EAS offers a fast-paced environment, with a focus on high-caliber work while balancing employee work-life relationship over the long term.

A qualified candidate for the Information Technology Designer position must have working knowledge of:

· Ethernet Local Area Networks (LAN), both copper & fiber

· Network Routing & Switching

· Passive Optical Networks

· Wide Area Networks

· Wireless LAN

· Power over Ethernet Standards

· Instructional Technology

· Physical Access Control Systems (preferred)

· IP Security Camera Systems (preferred)

· Audio/Video Systems

· Power Distribution for Information Technology Equipment Spaces
