Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Information Technology Manager to help us plan, implement, and maintain our computing and data storage infrastructure. You will be ultimately responsible for developing and implementing security policies, configuring and maintaining servers and software, setting up new users, and troubleshooting issues. We expect you to have deep know-how in Linux and Windows systems, databases, networking, and information security.

Description of Duties & Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Configure and maintain Linux, Windows, and BSD servers

• Administer Google Workspace, MS Office, various business software, and software development and engineering-specific software packages.

• Configure and maintain server software

• Configure and maintain databases

• Administer network management and monitoring software

• Research, plan, and implement security policies

• Administer software licenses

• Procure and maintain computing equipment

• Maintain server hardware and commission new servers

• Maintain and procure IT equipment for employees

Knowledge & Skills

Required:
*

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Linux and Windows servers and personal computers

• Database management

• Cybersecurity

Standout Qualifications:
*

• NIST 800-171 implementation experience

• Computer and server maintenance

• Experience configuring, planning, and deploying to cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc)

• Experience with containers, kubernetes, and automation, such as Puppet.

Work Experience & Education

Required:
*

• 5+ years experience in information technology

• Degree in information technology or equivalent experience/certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
