Job Summary:

This individual will be responsible for driving the sales process and closing opportunities for retail customers at Dakota Storage Buildings. This includes proactively following up on inquiries and leads from marketing outreach campaigns, internet searches, design room engagements, phone calls, walk-ins, and referrals. Expertly guiding prospects through a buyer’s journey from lead to discovery to close is the primary mission. This position will also create sales orders for products sold and assist in service call requests as directed. This Inside Sales Representative will report to the Head of Sales.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma
• A minimum of two years in a sales or sales support role

Required Skills:

• Communication: Both strong listening and communication skills are crucial as an Inside Sales Representative. Sales representatives need to know when to talk and when to listen. Representatives will also learn how to listen for common objections and utilize sales training to overcome them.
• Mathematical: Advanced mathematical skills are necessary for an Inside Sales Representative position. Salespersons will often have to calculate percentages, sales prices and discounts quickly and accurately.
• Teamwork: This sales representative will work in a team environment. They may have to interact with operations, marketing or other sales team members to meet sales goals. Interpersonal and teamwork skills will assist the sales representative in effectively working in a team environment.
• Persuasion: Skills in persuasion and influencing will assist the Inside Sales Representative in closing a sale. Salespersons will learn to build relationships, develop trust and learn when to persuade.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
