Inside Sales Representative Job Description:

We have an opening for an Inside Sales Representative. Candidate must possess excellent computer skills, strong communication skills, telephone sales techniques for contacting existing customers and potential new customers. Ideal candidate must have experience in the automotive industry (specifically powertrain products), a positive attitude, and upbeat approach is required.

Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills would be ideal but not required.

Inside Sales Representative Specifics: All inside sales representatives are paid an excellent base wage plus commission

Hours: Monday – Friday (Full-Time)

Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Interact with Customers daily via phone, email, text and Skype selling powertrain products (engines, transmissions, differentials, transfer cases, etc.)
• Maintain up-to-date account information for all customer accounts
• Establish rapport with direct contact with our Customers, and build direct following of accounts
• Upsell, cross-sell products when applicable
• Handle inbound sales calls through our phone queueing system and make outbound calls to your assigned accounts to re-establish sales and/or increase sales opportunities
• Exemplary phone skills with a professional etiquette always
• Professionally interact with co-workers and occasional Customer visits
• Participate in local Company sponsored events (racing, bowling, etc.)
• Always represent the Company in a positive light
• Utilizing CRM and other resources to track interaction with leads and customers
• Working with other sales representatives to maximize sales for the company as a whole
• Processing orders with accuracy including completing orders entering required information on orders, scheduling production of orders, collecting payment, and submitting a shipping request for orders.

Inside Sales Representative Work requirements:

• Sitting, Standing at a desk for majority of the workday
• Advanced computer skills requiring above average typing skillset, and using multiple monitors.
• Working in a fast paced environment with competing deadlines and changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills required for continual use of phone/headset.
• Ability to problem solving swiftly and accurately correcting any issues that may arise.
• Must have a strong understanding of automotive industry and powertrain products

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
