We are seeking a Engineering Intern to join our growing team.

The role of the Engineering Intern is to assist Engineers by providing design, engineering, and observation activities related to freight rail and transit projects.

Primary Duties:

• 
  Perform alignment, draining, utilities, at-grade crossings, and earthwork design using AutoCAD, Microstation, and InRail
• Cost estimating, specifications, and construction submittals review
• Assist in preparation of rail and civil plans for freight, commuter, and transit projects
• Limited field observation on project sites before, during, and after construction
• Work closely with project managers to execute project deliverables

Required Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience
• Major Status in Civil Engineering, will consider commensurate experience
• Currently Junior, Senior, or recent graduate from an ABET/EAC program
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat

Preferred Qualifications:

• Railroad and/or Transportation focus (discipline focused)
• previous experience utilizing: AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or InRail
