Work with a telecommunications company in the Northwest city of Hermiston Oregon.

We are looking for an IT Technician to implement support internal users and projects. You will primarily support internal users with all their IT needs. This will involve the setting up of new computers. Provisioning cloud accounts and services and maintaining the local IT environment.

How you will spend your day:

Although the amount of time spent on one responsibility vs. another will vary quite a bit depending on the current project load. Below is the estimated overall division of responsibilities for this position.

Internal IT Work (70%) -- Includes system upgrades, new computer setup and other IT tasks.

Customer Support (20%) – At time you may be asked in supporting needs of our customers.

Internal Project Work (10%) – At times you will work our network team on network projects.

Responsibilities

Provision staff computers. Manage updates.

Troubleshoot internal IT needs.

Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated.

Maintain Printers, security cameras and other internal devices.

Industry-related experience in IT and network administration.

Ability to work independently.

Organizational skills

Knowledge of scripting for task automation

Strong troubleshooting skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
