IT Audit Manager

Summary:
This role will report to the SVP and Head of Internal Audit. IT Audit Manager will be responsible to lead risk-based technology audits and work collaboratively with Business audit team on the technology components of audits within their area. This role will work very closely with senior leadership within Enterprise Technology and other corporate groups. This role will also collaborate with Internal Audit co-source partners and external auditors.
IT Audit Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or advanced degrees are preferred.
• CPA, CIA, CISSP, PMP or CISA certification is required
• Minimum of 5 years of IT audit experience
• Experience to supervise other team members and manage audits
• Solid understanding of risk and controls, particularly cyber and IT infrastructure
• High level of project management, organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Team oriented and a good people manager

IT Audit Manager Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in a “Big 4” auditing firm a plus
• Experience with Broker Dealers is preferred

IT Audit Manager Description:

• Manage a team of 4-5 IT auditors.
• Manage execution of IT audits and ensure quality and timely completion of the technology audit plan.
• Ensure audit test work, including documentation and reporting, is executed in accordance with department and professional standards and completed timely.
• Ensure effective reporting of audit results through effective verbal and written communication.
• Ensure audit results are corroborated and reviewed with key stakeholders prior to finalization.
• Manage processes to track, follow-up, close and report on Management Action Plans that have been laid out to remediate gaps identified through audits.
• Support the Head of Audit on on-going risk assessment, IT stakeholder discussions, development of IT audit plan and ad-hoc advisory to technology teams.
• Support the Head of Audit to hire, train and manage IT Audit team and help develop a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
• All other duties as assigned.
