ACP Connections is looking for a strong IT Business Analyst. This role is up to a one year contract with the possibility of going on permanent. The role is remote with a few special meetings throughout the year onsite. Located in Phoenix, AZ. Must have strong UAT experience, retail, SQL and excellent communication skills. IT Business Analyst will be supported by the teams Sr. Business Analyst. The IT Business Analyst role is mainly remote with some optional in office meetings, it will be important to occasionally go into the office and meet directly with stakeholders to discuss the database functionality.

IT Business Analyst Essential Job Functions:

• Serves as liaison between business users and technical team.
• Will work with multiple application owners/system integrations including Schematics, Deal Management, Promotional planning, Sales Forecasting, Pricing, and Item Management
• Perform installation and configuration of application upgrades for on-premise applications (All installations and configurations will be done with the vendor)
• Perform initial application and system testing
• Create detailed Functional and Technical documentation
• Create current and future state business process diagrams
• Translate requirements into Use and Test Cases
• Create source to targe mappings for data migration and integration projects.
• Perform any other assigned tasks deemed necessary for the project’s success.

IT Business Analyst Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 5 + years of direct experience gathering and documenting requirements for system implementations or custom development
• Experience working with Agile/Scum methodology.
• Knowledgeable in database and software application techniques and trends
• Familiar with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling techniques
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a Retail Environment, working with HQ/Retalix software is strongly preferred.
• Experience/Knowledgeable in MS Access Databases(Building/Deconstructing)
• Experience with standard business/project applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio/Lucid Chart and Smartsheets/Project

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
