Division Description: The Wausau Division is an industry leader in the production of corrugated shipping containers and sheets. Position Overview:
We are seeking an IT Coordinator for our Wausau Division. This position will report to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
The IT Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the technology needs of the division by coordinating all IT projects and ensuring company resources are utilized appropriately.

Responsibilities include the following:
  • Provide recommended solutions for projects involving IT hardware and software
  • Provide technical support and/or training for systems and networks
  • Act as a link between end users and higher-level support
  • Purchase and set up of new computer equipment
  • Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network cards, etc.)
  • Monitor system and network for optimal performance
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of IT equipment
  • Maintains IT asset inventory
  • Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules
  • Ensures security is implemented on all computers and user levels
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to maintain standards and functionality
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.

3+ years of experience in a similar role. Experience in network management and/or help desk support preferred.

Strong understanding of PC workstations and Windows OS.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint is a plus.

Comp TIA Network+, Comp TIA Security+, etc. are a plus.

Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications such as:
  • Thin Client Technology
  • Forklift Terminals
  • Windows and Linux Servers
  • KiwiPlan
  • Mobile Phone Technology
Knowledgeable in network switching technology
  • Understands TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
  • VLANS
  • Printers
  • CISCO
Other Requirements:
  • Must possess problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues within both office and manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards
  • Must be able to work independently with some direction as well as in a team environment
  • Available for after hour support
