Job Description :
Responsibilities include the following:
- Provide recommended solutions for projects involving IT hardware and software
- Provide technical support and/or training for systems and networks
- Act as a link between end users and higher-level support
- Purchase and set up of new computer equipment
- Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network cards, etc.)
- Monitor system and network for optimal performance
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of IT equipment
- Maintains IT asset inventory
- Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules
- Ensures security is implemented on all computers and user levels
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to maintain standards and functionality
3+ years of experience in a similar role. Experience in network management and/or help desk support preferred.
Strong understanding of PC workstations and Windows OS.
Comp TIA Network+, Comp TIA Security+, etc. are a plus.
Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications such as:
- Thin Client Technology
- Forklift Terminals
- Windows and Linux Servers
- KiwiPlan
- Mobile Phone Technology
- Understands TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
- VLANS
- Printers
- CISCO
- Must possess problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues within both office and manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards
- Must be able to work independently with some direction as well as in a team environment
- Available for after hour support
