Job Summary
The IT Hardware Technician is responsible for resolving work requests, installing hardware and software, and analyzing system requirements. Tasks include end-user support, license tracking, performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations, and monitoring of assigned systems such as wireless networks, security cameras, and other equipment. The IT Hardware Technician will provide support to employees or customers regarding day-to-day hardware and software-related technical issues, giving instructions on how to use different programs and devices. The IT Hardware Technician will be responsible for installing and updating desktops or laptops, ensuring software is working efficiently, and troubleshooting IT issues within the company.
