What would you do? The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that phone systems, computing systems & infrastructure are operating securely, effectively, and efficiently. This position will be hands-on and work in conjunction with our IT vendors to build IT function to support our internal operations and customers. This person will be responsible for building and implementing the organization's IT strategy, policies, and operating procedures. They will be responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Manages activities pertaining to the design, qualification, and maintenance of IT utilities, equipment, and systems.
  • Managing the IT function through relationships with IT vendors.
  • Manage and grow the IT team.
  • Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee daily operations, including server hardware, software, networking, security, and operating systems.
  • Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
  • Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Evaluating technology risks to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
  • Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
  • Provide internal staff support for applications, tools, and equipment.
  • Manage our hardware life cycle and EOL preparation strategy.
  • Develop and implement company IT policies, best practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and manage company software solutions, tools, and subscriptions.
  • Control the acquisition and implementation of all company tools, software, and subscriptions.
  • Work with cross-functional leadership to ensure continuous improvements in IT operations, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Manage the security of data and Company-wide infrastructure.
  • Keeps proficient records of inventories, drawings, and documentation.
  • Analyzes cost control evaluations, inventory management, and work order trends, and makes appropriate recommendations.
  • Reports to CFO issues, problems, or jobs requiring outside or professional assistance/attention and oversees contractors when professional repairs are necessary.

Do you have the necessary education & experience?

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, computer science, or business management with a technical focus or equivalent experience in software engineering, business, or information systems.
  • 3+ years’ experience leading teams and/or projects in the development and maintenance of IT Infrastructure and Endpoint delivery.
  • Comprehension of IT ticketing systems.
  • Proficiency with IT Infrastructure and Endpoint management and support.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio.
  • Knowledge of PCI compliance and Federal Trade Commission FTC Safeguard Rules or familiarity with meeting other forms of compliance.

What are the work hours? Regular work hours are M-F 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Base compensation, Salary/Exempt: $90k-$140k annually.
