Job Description :
This position is eligible for remote work with some days in the office in either our Fayetteville, Arkansas or Draper, Utah locations. Candidate must live within a 60-mile radius of one of these locations.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
- Write and maintain Information Security policies, standards, procedures, technical security baselines, and awareness
- Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
- Identify and define system security requirements
- Contributes as a team member or lead in key information security projects
- Build and maintain a regular program of internal and external security & vulnerability scans with prompt remediation of any items identified
- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
- Identify and respond to security incidents, document and communicate findings, and modify defenses and response measures as appropriate
- 3+ years prior experience in Information Security, Information Technology, IT Project management or related field required
- Bachelor’s degree in technology related field or equivalent professional experience required
- Must have experience writing security policies and procedures
- Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security
- Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
- Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
- Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
