This is a very busy office.

The job is not remote, it is done in the office in Cheyenne.

Cheyenne Radiology Group (CRG) is a physician owned organization that serves the diagnostic radiology needs of Cheyenne, WY and the surrounding community, plus other hospitals in other regions CRG also has a robust outreach program that provides professional teleradiology services to a number of hospitals and clinic locations in WY and CO. The CRG IT Department is dedicated to helping our clients and customers resolve information technology issues in a timely and friendly manner, all the while maintaining reliable workstations, user desktops, information systems, networks, data storage and security.

Cheyenne Radiology Group is looking for an “all around” technical generalist who is eager to learn, grow and challenge themselves to learn on thier own and contribute to the IT department and team. Our needs are for a team-oriented person who can provide support for all information technology matters for our main office, satellite clinics and outreach connections.

IT Technician that will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. You will “train” users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure. A successful IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail and a drive to figure out solutions to any problem. The goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability.

This position is done mostly M-F with on-call rotation. On-call is 24-7 (nights and weekends) for a week at a time.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and WORK experience.

This position reports to the IT Supervisor.

This is a multi-faceted role that encompasses the following:

Cheyenne Radiology is almost completely virtual, so VMWare experience is a must.

Job Duties:

  • Answer support calls and troubleshoot issues
  • Set up workstations with computers/thin clients and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality.
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
  • VMware vSphere support and maintenance of infrastructure.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and inform the supervisor of needs.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain relationships and work effectively cross-functionally and with external parties.
  • Strong professional and business judgment with problem-solving, strategic-thinking, and critical-analysis ability; able to make effective decisions and execute an appropriate course of action that complies with IT requirements while supporting business objectives.
  • A strong skillset in support of Wi-Fi and ethernet technology.
  • Excellent attention to detail; time management, project management, and organizational skills; able to perform a wide variety of tasks and multi-task efficiently with the ability to Prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • Ethically handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit for long periods of time

Skills/ Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in IT support, systems administration, and helpdesk support in the following:
  • Microsoft Windows Operating Systems including Windows Server and Office 365 to support end-users
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, SQL server, Microsoft and non-Microsoft servers and infrastructure technology; working knowledge of general IT business concepts and thinking, principles, and best practices
  • High level support of Active Directory, Windows domains, OS X, Mobile devices, Enterprise Wi-Fi and Backup Systems.
  • Healthcare network, systems and desktop support and administration.
  • Microsoft office 365, including One Drive, SharePoint and Teams
  • A+ Certification; preferred.
  • End Point Security experience - anti-virus, malware
  • Strong Troubleshooting, Hands-On Windows, Software, Hardware
  • Excellent Communication skills, Documenting
  • Strong Time Management, Priority Management, Multi-Tasking, Task priorities.
  • Driven, Intuitive, proven initiative, and independent decision making.
  • Remain productive, communicate daily, with clients and Supervisor.

Pay depends on work experience.
