Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in IT support/helpdesk positions.
  • General technical understanding of desktops, laptops, printers, VoIP phones, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Strong understanding of efficient troubleshooting methods with the ability to find answers to problems you have not previously experienced.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices with a commitment to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/triage tasks appropriately.
  • Ability to maintain a pleasant attitude through stressful situations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • General understanding of TCP/IP networking and related services, i.e DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory concepts and administration.
  • Ability to document/track issues and reports within the IT Ticketing system.
  • Ability to create and maintain hardware and software inventory, network diagrams, etc.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and installation experience.
  • Working technical knowledge of operating systems, including Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365, and mobile devices (iOS, Android).
  • Maintain organized record keeping as required for audits.
  • Ability to work with vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Strict adherence to company technology standards and respect for confidential information.
  • The employee may occasionally stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally work outside of normal business hours for implementation projects, updates, system maintenance, etc.
  • May be required to lift/maneuver heavy objects such as servers or batteries, up to 50 pounds, on rare occasions.
  • Must possess a cell phone with text and email access, as well as reliable transportation for traveling to branch locations.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Administrator experience within Active Directory, Office 365 (Exchange, Sharepoint, etc.), or other user management systems.
  • Experience with Antivirus, backup, or patch management systems.
  • Understanding of NIST and FFIEC security frameworks.
  • Experience in a banking environment and/or with regulated audits and examinations.

Job Description:

The Support Technician's role is to provide end-user support (local and remote), and maintenance within the organization's environment, including installing, diagnosing, repairing, updating, maintaining, and upgrading bank equipment such as PC hardware, software, telephones, mobile devices, and other peripherals. They will also perform user maintenance and review for various IT and banking systems. The technician will report to the IT Director and will be the primary contact for service requests at the bank. They are expected to handle all service requests in a professional, organized, and timely manner. After-hours work will sometimes be required during project implementations, for system maintenance/updates, or occasional user support. The technician is required to maintain a cell phone plan with text and data, as well as reliable transportation for traveling to branch locations. Job duties may sometimes include additional responsibilities beyond what is stated in this description.

Work environment and Physical demands: The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee may occasionally stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The work environment and physical demands will sometimes exceed those of a standard office setting as some IT equipment can be heavy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
