TC Networks is seeking a full-time IT Support Technician

At TC Networks, we're passionate about the role of technology in achieving organizational success. Our onsite team delivers technology services for Education and Private Business, and supports the hardware, software, and services that help drive academic achievement and business productivity.

Currently we are looking for a Technician to work within a K-12 environment in Monroe, Wisconsin.

Essential Functions and Competencies:

1. Demonstrates knowledge of office computer systems, telephone systems, computers, printers, copiers, and has the ability to trouble shoot issues on all devices and provide solutions.

2. Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.

3. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.

4. Provides technical support for day-to-day problems that arise with the software or hardware and is the main point of contact for the employees experiencing computer issues.

5. Ability to provide professional internal customer service working with people with varying levels of computer/systems knowledge.

6. Ability to add computers/users to the network domain. Setup email accounts ensure staff have proper rights and privileges. Installs and sets up software on desktops, laptops, and returns equipment to factory settings upon transfer.

7. Proficiency and the ability to deploy and manage Windows, Chromebook, macOS, and iOS devices

8. Experience with Windows servers including Active Directory management

9. Knowledge of general wired/wireless networking

10. Ability to test, deploy, and troubleshoot software applications as needed

11. Familiar with Google’s app ecosystem

12. Strong customer service skills

13. Familiar with and complies to safety and sanitation regulations

Working Environment: The majority of time spent while working will be in a school environment. The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s responsibilities and essential functions require the following physical demands: sitting, standing, some lifting (ability to lift up to 50lbs), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; significant fine finger dexterity.

Qualifications:

· An Associate’s degree in computer related field (network systems), OR

· Minimum four (2) years of experience in the computer field, OR

· Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses/Required Testing: Valid driver’s license and evidence of insurability.
