Istituto Italiano Scuola (IIS) is a San Francisco non-profit that promotes the Italian language and culture throughout the Bay Area via special events, workshops, and Italian language courses.

We are looking for an Italian Instructor for our classes IN-PERSON (San Francisco, North Beach) and on-line.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, well organized, competent in basic computer skills, and is an individual who is eager to work in a highly dynamic, energetic school setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching Italian to adults and/or children
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Enthusiastic and able to think on one’s feet
• Punctual and responsible
• Reliable transportation

Preferred

• Bachelor degree
• Certification in teaching (DITALS, or CELI etc.)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
