Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Accountant looking for advancement opportunities in a high-growth healthcare company. The position is ideal for recent Accounting graduates looking to jumpstart their career.

Summary

The Candidate will be responsible for recording and maintaining the company's daily financial transactions, prepare reports for the CFO, run payroll, balance sheet reconciliations, and other general accounting duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manage/run payroll and employee benefit obligations
• Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements
• Assist in capital budgeting and variance analysis
• Support year-end requests from external auditors
• Assist with month end closing assignments such as journal entry adjustments, cash receipts, bank/credit line reconciliation and GL accounts reconciliation
• Assist in developing more efficient methods to improve the accounting process
• Assist external CPA on any information requested for annual/quarterly tax preparation
• Assist in required periodic state and federal tax filings
• Generate consolidated financials to include corporation holding companies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work in our Bountiful, UT corporate office.
• Bachelor’s in accounting
• Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), possess excellent analytical skills and ability to work in a deadline driven environment; manage multiple assignments and be an effective problem solver.
• Ability to demonstrate thoroughness and extreme attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and learn and apply new skills quickly

Hours

Monday – Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
