JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The Junior Staff Accountant is a full‐time position in our Madison, North Carolina. In this position, you will work closely with the accounting team and be exposed to multiple areas of our accounting and finance functions. You will also be involved with the month-end closing and develop a good base of practical accounting knowledge. Bank Reconciliations

• Cost Accounting
• Support our store managers and customer service reps with accounting and system questions
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with audits
• Ensure accurate account coding for a consistent Income Statement and Balance Sheet
• Assist with the month-end closing process
• Assist with other areas of accounting and finance functions as needed
• Implement process improvements
• Some travel required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Must have working knowledge of Excel
• Must be a hard-worker and willing to do whatever is assigned
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to complete an Accounting related case study during the interview process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
