We are seeking a Junior System Administrator for our headquarters based in Ashburn, VA.
The position activities are related to administration, design, documentation, installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of customer equipment from the SPG IT O&E Department.
Role and Responsibilities
· Install, support, and maintain computer desktops, laptops, printers and any related hardware and software.
· Provide technical support to end users for a variety of IT issues, including software, network, phone system.
· Respond in a timely manner to all phone calls, voicemails, emails and on-site requests for technical support.
· Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
· Conducts routine network hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established policies and configuration guidelines
· Works with vendor engineers and technicians to resolve technical network problems
· Work with IT Operations and Engineering Manager to conduct customer onboardings – may require on-site presence
· Works with IT Operations and Engineering Manager to create a yearly employee to improve existing or needed skillsets.
· Perform on-call operational duties on rotational basis
