Position: Manufacturing Process Engineer Continuous Improvement

Summary: In this capacity, you will be responsible for providing continuous improvement support to the shop floor. Review and track discrepancies to implement robust corrective actions aimed at reducing COPQ and improving TAT on core product.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Review shop discrepancies between technical data and part condition.

· Track non-conformances in an effort to recommend, implement, and monitor corrective actions.

· Create and or update work instructions (routings and operation sheets).

• Develop new ideas and research new technologies to innovate and expand our capabilities.

· Communicate with vendors, suppliers and customers, as necessary to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

· 2+ years of hands on experience or technical experience in a related OEM or MRO Manufacturing/Process Engineering discipline.

· Familiarization with Solidworks or equivalent software.

· Familiarization of Visual / Dimensional Inspection relating to aerospace applications.

· Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, oral/written communication skills a must.

· Working knowledge of manufacturing processes

· Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments used in aerospace manufacturing.
