  • Manage projects by leading the implementation team, focusing on project plan delivery to
    maintain continuous alignment of project scope with defined strategic business objectives
  • Experience in manufacturing industry(s) - preferably paper or plastic converting
  • Manage Multiple projects directed toward strategic beusiness and other organizational objectives in our manufacturing plant operations.


Day-to-Day Role

  • Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
  • Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standards
  • Follow and commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Manage multiple projects directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives
  • Work with all levels of manufacturing leadership to create plans for executing approved strategic projects
  • Develop project plan schedules and work plans, estimate resources and costs, and track and report progress
  • Manage, prioritize, and ensure completion of projects and programs of various size, scope, and duration
  • Manage projects by leading the implementation team, focusing on project results to maintain continuous alignment of project scope with defined strategic business objectives
  • Use multiple project management methodologies based on the best approach for each project / effort
  • Maintain flexibility of planning, execution, communication, and leadership to support project personnel to function at maximum productivity
  • Work directly with the leadership team to define project success criteria, manage the uncertainty inherent in large, complex projects and maintain visibility to the expected value of the outcome throughout the project lifecycle
  • Effectively manage project changes, risk/issue mitigation, stakeholder communication and connectivity facilitating escalation when necessary and devise contingency plans
  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships with project stakeholders at multiple levels and multiple locations vital to the success of the project
  • Provide feedback and suggestions with fact-based analysis and metrics to continuously improve project and management processes and systems.
  • Lead, collaborate, and provide project management assistance and guidance to plant resources and support personnel


Core Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Requires one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of project management experience
    • Associate’s degree and five (5) years of project management experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and/or a similar Project Management software
  • Experience using Microsoft Office as communication, tracking, and analysis tools
  • Experience with a range of project management methodologies
  • Superior presentation and communication skills
  • Proven leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use reason and logic to influence decision making of individuals, groups, work teams and leadership, to achieve project results
  • Experience leading a team of people to achieve a desired outcome, project or otherwise
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Successful track record of managing large projects
  • Ability to work effectively with others and adapt to a dynamic, fast -paced, customer-focused work environment, characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, frequent ambiguity and multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
  • Preferred manufacturing knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of products
  • Up to 25% domestic travel
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
