Knee Deep Solutions (KDS) is growing! Our team provides accurate and precise manure management / compliance services to Iowa livestock producers.

Currently we are looking to add a manure management planner to provide agricultural consulting assistance to our growing clientele. The ideal candidate will possess an “Iowa farm” mentality – the work ethic that we are known for around the nation, be a self-starter, and have a love of organization and attention to detail.

Working under the direction of the owner, this team member will provide manure management services to a designated territory of farmers, with an opportunity for growth.

Specific Job Duties:

• Collect accurate information from a variety of sources
• Communicate effectively and pleasantly with farmers
• Learn and calculate soil evaluation equations
• Understand crop rotations and farming practices
• Synchronize information between agronomists and DNR
• Coordinate with local county and DNR offices
• Ensure accuracy of office documents

Requirements:

• College degree and farming background is required
• Knowledge of computer systems and software including: email, spreadsheets, and word processing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of farming - including crop rotations, livestock production, fertilizer uses and conservation practices
• High degree of math skills
• Ability to organize project and maintain accurate notes
