Job Summary:

This intern position will assist with all things marketing related for the 27th Anniversary of Texas Music Revolution Fest- set to be held in McKinney, TX June 2-3, 2023. The intern’s goal is to maintain the festivals’ online presence and voice, keep our fans informed and interested in the event, and creatively promote the festival in the most effective manner possible.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creating innovative marketing strategies via social media, mass email, etc.
• Monitoring coverage (press, social engagement, etc) for the festival providing tracking & valuation
• Assisting with promotional logistics and execution for marketing events
• Research & execution of grassroots marketing efforts
• Media & marketing recap for the festivals in a comprehensive report
• Attend meetings as needed in person or via ZOOM
• Other duties and projects as assigned

**Most job duties are able to be completed remotely, however there will be some in-office meetings and tasks as needed. You will be expected to work the festival as needed to complete the internship course and receive stipend**

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university
• Must have reliable transportation
• Marketing communications, advertising or public relations focus in college preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in social media marketing platforms
• Photoshop/design skills a plus, not required
• Self-starter, creative, team player
• Ability to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with multiple departments, marketing partners and external clients in a professional and personable manner
