We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team to provide essential support in developing and implementing our communication and outreach strategy. As a marketing coordinator you will have the opportunity to lead projects from start to finish. Your work will include preparing promotional materials, building social media campaigns, and rebranding the MILC website. Midstate Independent Living Choices is a consumer controlled, non-profit, non-residential organization serving people with disabilities residing in 11 counties in Wisconsin, since 2000. We work with consumers with disabilities to research, evaluate, and assist them in making informed decisions.
Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing Midstate Independent Living Choices (MILC) communication and outreach strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Duties include but not limited to:
Prepare promotional materials
Build social media campaigns
Rebrand MILC website
Prepare detailed promotional presentations
Design and present new social medica campaign ideas
Develop a strategy that boosts social support, such as social networks, friendships, and similar actions that can help respond to Covid-19 or other public health challenges
Provide public health education to underserved populations and people with Limited English Proficiency (LEP)
Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
Measure consumer satisfaction with products and services
Adhere to and abide by Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
Adhere to and abide by all agency policies and procedures
