Central Coast Orthopedics is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for our orthopedic clinic in San Luis Obispo. We are a physician-owned medical group, leaders in our community offering quality orthopedic care with 3 offices on the Central Coast.

Position is full time, weekdays only, in San Luis Obispo, CA.

To be qualified, you must have good clinical experience, be bright, outgoing, compassionate, a team player, able to work at a fast pace and love people.

You'll be part of a team of Medical Assistants. You must be a reliable employee, display a good attitude at all times, be someone that we can count on, a team player willing to help others (and be helped), and present a professional appearance to our patients. Great communication and phone skills are important, and you need to be good at clerical and computer tasks. Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus.

You'll be using our medical software in a fast-paced office, so you need to be able to multi-task without getting frustrated. Since we deal with very personal, private health and financial information for our patients, you must have good attention to detail and must totally respect patient confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Good clinical skills with an understanding of basic anatomy
* An outgoing personality with empathy for people who are hurting
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Great phone skills
* High computer literacy
* CMA, RMA or CNA a plus

*Ability to adapt to change

*Willing to travel between offices when necessary
