Responsibilities:
The Medical Office Assistant I will work Regular Part-time Various Shifts & Weekends and assume responsibility for continuing education by maintaining competency in programs required for daily responsibilities, including clinical information systems, office automation systems and insurance issues.
  • Reception/Call Handling
  • Registration/Appointment Scheduling/Referrals Collection of Payment/Cash Handling Office Support/Cross Coverage/Confidentiality
  • The Medical Office Assistant performs similar or related duties as requested or directed
Qualifications:

Bassett Healthcare Network follows the New York State and New York State Department of Health COVID-19 vaccine mandates for healthcare workers. Education:

  • HS Diploma Preferred.

Experience:

  • 1 year of relevant work experience required
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
