.Net Web Software Developer (Secret Clearance)

OPEXUS is a technology firm specializing in SaaS case management software products and other technology services. Due to continued growth, OPEXUS is seeking a well-rounded developer to join an exceptional team supporting and developing a portfolio of applications using a variety of tools.This position is located in the Washington, DC area.

Technical Skills

The ideal candidate for this position has 2 to 6 years of experience in .NET web development including C#.NET; ASP.NET; HTML; CSS; XML; JavaScript; JQuery, AJAX; interface design; IIS, MS Visual Studio IDE; and relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle or My SQL.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop websites and custom application solutions.
• Maintain and support existing applications, providing suggestions on ways to optimize or enhance
• Provide technical training and support to clients when necessary
• Participate in project planning/estimation with project managers
• Convert and integrate data and content for use in databases and websites
• Stay abreast of current technology and seek out new tools that can be utilized appropriately
• Make suggestions that improve programming techniques, applications, documentation and client deliverables
• Engage in problem definition and solution implementation according to client needs
• Diagnose application performance across client-side code, network communication, web-service processing, relational database design, and web-service interactions.

Nice to have:

Additional experience and a willingness to learn other web development environments is a plus. Any mix of the following skills is also valuable:

• Modern UI Frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap, Google Web Toolkit)
• Drupal and PHP
• Mobile application development (eg. Xamarin)
• SAML and Single Sign On(SSO) implementations
• MS Azure or AWS PaaS development tools and services
• Experience with DEVOPS CI/CD tools and automation processes (e.g., Azure DevOPS).
• Experience or skills with other languages and application servers (e.g., Tomcat)

Education:

Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science preferred
