American Engineering - one of the fastest growing engineering firms in the Southeast - is searching for new graduate civil engineers (graduating May 2023) in our Chesapeake, VA office to support our growing design workload in land development, infrastructure, and transportation services sectors.

Our ideal candidate will be graduating with a BS in civil engineering or similar degree. EI certification is not required, but ability to obtain or already passed FE puts you ahead of the game. Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Our American Academy Training Program is unique within the engineering industry. It provides a clearly identified set of skills - and path for how to obtain - a new engineer needs to learn in order to become proficient at various design elements.

American Engineering is unique. We have the resources and challenging projects of large firm, but still small enough to provide hands-on training and mentoring. Our compensation program is not limited to a stodgy corporate spreadsheet. Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
