DDCues, LLC Security Guard Job Posting

SECURITY GUARD CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: DDCues Guards must meet and maintain all NY State Level 1 Security Guard requirements, must have a valid Guards License on their person while working, and have a copy of their current NY Department of State Photo ID card and Certification of Compliance on file with DDCues.

Guards must have a minimum of six (6) months experience, a High School Diploma or GED, be 18 years of age, speak, read, and write in English, with the ability to communicate with visitors and to prepare incident reports as needed. Guards must also have the physical capabilities to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule: Full and Part Time Positions

Hourly Pay Rates: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience and knowledge

Responsibilities: DDCues Guards will perform their duties in a professional and consistent manner by adhering to the General Instructions (GI) and Post Orders (PO).

Shift Coverage: The work schedule consists of one (1) Guard, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day coverage, to including holidays. Guards are required to have an operational cell phone, and valid Driver’s License.

Primary Objective: Guards are assigned to observe and report to DDCues management all occurrences that may arise during their assigned shift of duty. Protect offices, buildings and grounds against potential incidents which may include but is not limited to fire, disruptive activity, violent storm, vandalism, theft, loitering, trespass, burglaries, unlawful entry, bodily harm, building system malfunctions and deficiencies, etc. Logbook notations are to be made minimally noting times on and off duty, shift change briefings, when rounds are conducted and any observation, documenting any issues. Review logbook for issues that may have occurred on a previous shift and may require actions. Monitor all entrances and grounds and maintain constant vigilance to ensure the safety of patrons, employees, and client property.

Shift Tours/Inspections:Guards will tour designated areas inside all buildings at a minimum of twice per shift; perimeter rounds are required every 30 minutes. shift inspections are to be made to note any evidence of unauthorized or attempted unauthorized entrance, such as but not limited to, broken or damaged windows, doors, or locks.

DDCues Guards will maintain a professional demeanor, enforce and adhere to DDCues Security and Clients policies and procedures, promote outstanding customer service relations, and maintain the ability to consistently report to work on time and during various weather conditions.
