WOAY-TV is looking for a motivated team player to join us as an evening Anchor/Producer.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications and at least one year of experience at an affiliate station or cable newsroom. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial. You must be able to prioritize, work well independently, have strong organizational skills, handle time constraints, and meet deadlines.

This position requires you to produce and anchor our weekday 5pm, 6pm, and 11pm newscasts. You will also be expected to produce content for a variety of platforms including our website, social media, and mobile app, in addition to television. Factual research, source development, and finding leads is crucial.
