Karefirst is one of the largest independent nurse practitioner groups in the Nation. We strive to improve patient outcomes, one patient at a time. We work to develop custom programs to reduce risk, readmission rates, speed up recovery while making a meaningful impact on the geriatric population.

Our nurse practitioners work collaboratively as a member of the medical staff at our skilled and assisted living facilities. Our NPs will establish and build a strong working relationship with the Director of Nursing, Administrators and medical staff throughout their designated building(s) and will act as the primary liaison for emergencies and routine medical visits. Your daily responsibility is to provide care through the evaluation and assessment of the health history, health promotion, diagnosing medical conditions, management of health problems by directing and developing the plan of care, prescribing medications and collaborating with patients, patient’s family members, and healthcare practitioners.

Requirements:

• Valid State RN License
• Valid/Unrestricted APRN License
• ANCC/AANP Board Certification
• Controlled Substance License & DEA not necessary, but preferred
