Job Description :

This community based, private, not-for-profit health organization is looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude and initiative for the position of Occupational Therapist. The role of OT is to evaluate and treat patients in accordance with the orders of the referring physician, through the use of the therapeutic procedures and supportive devices intended to maximize functional potentials in all areas of a patient’s life. This position reports to the Rehab Director.

Details:

  • Monday-Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with an occasional holiday and weekend
  • Salary range begins at $64,700
  • Direct patient care performing the duties of Staff Occupational Therapist.
  • Assure the continued development of the Occupational Therapy Program.
  • Assure implementation of applicable hospital and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Establish patient plans of care, perform updates plans of care and completion of discharge along with daily notes.
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in occupational therapy
  • Current license, certification, or registration in the State of Kansas
  • Affiliation with American Occupational Therapy Associates is preferred
  • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Associates
  • Organizational ability to plan and supervise activities of the OT staff

The health organization is comprised of a 25-bed critical access hospital, an outpatient rural health clinic, and skilled nursing facility with an onsite childcare center for children 6 weeks to school age for our workforce.
