The Property Inspector will assist in inspections of properties for the Long Term Rental department working with the General Manager and Maintenance Scheduler to inspect long term rental properties and communicate all required maintenance that needs on move-out. The Inspector will also conduct periodic inspections to assess conditions of units tenants currently occupy as well as create unit videos. Knowledge of basic maintenance required to take care of small tasks.

Duties:

Conduct move-out and periodic inspections of rental properties using Zinspector and schedule with tenants.

Make minor maintenance repairs such as replacing light bulbs, towel bars, light switch plates, light cleaning as necessary

Use 3D camera to create tours of properties to be posted online (Matterport)

Assess conditions of properties and provide reports of areas that could be improved and report to General Manager

Assist in errands for unit maintenance (trips to Lowes, etc)

Perform second inspections prior to tenant move-in to ensure properties are ready

Schedule:

Hours per week will vary per season, 20-30 hours. Work schedule is flexible, nights and weekends may be required.

Material and equipment directly used: Personal computer including Google, various cloud-based software, cameras. Working environment: Office environment, public interaction. Multiple projects and priorities, detail oriented.

Required Job Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

High attention to detail

Extremely organized and forward thinking

Must be very comfortable with computers and learning how to use software tools

Must have good command of English language strong verbal and writing communication skills

Must have clean record and background check, must have good credit

Must be able to work flexible hours and some weekends

Experience with minor maintenance work

Preferred Job Qualifications:

Special consideration given to holders of CO Real Estate License

Experience filming or with photography

Prior maintenance, inspection and or property management experience preferred
