Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing the daily inspection on any company vehicle to be driven.
• File/organize invoices.
• Communicate with part and supply vendors.
• Responsible for communicating where/what parts will be picked up and dropped off in various locations
• Perform route planning, depending on needs of crews/mechanics
• Coordinate tasks with the Parts Specialist, Shop Manager, Crew Foreman, & Crew Members
• Stock parts

Work Environment:

• Outdoor, driving a vehicle, & shop area
• The work environment periodically exposes the employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust that is typically associated with a mechanic shop.
• Employee regularly works near heavy equipment and moving machinery.
• Work may involve a variety of substances commonly found on quarry sites such as form oil, grease, curing compounds, gasoline, diesel fuel.

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy lifting, long periods of sitting/driving, able to lift 50 lbs when loading & unloading parts
• Repetitive tasks include: driving & loading/unloading parts
• Regular work schedule is 7am to 5pm. Hours will vary depending on parts needs

Qualification Requirements

• General. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Key Duty satisfactorily. • Education and Experience. Mechanical experience and a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
