Role / Title:

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for Kraft Heinz and contingent Labor companies

Key Components of the role:

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for the Kirksville Plant- ensuring that employees are paid properly and timely.
• Ensure hours worked are approved and reported properly
• Process all payroll related information in compliance with federal- state- and local laws and company policy.
• Balance customer service to employees and payroll processing with efficiency of operation.
• Work with and through others to obtain compliance with payroll timelines and procedures.
• Ensure the timeliness of payroll
• Ensure payroll records are retained in an efficient organized manner in accordance with legal requirements and Company record retention policy.
• Distribute weekly and bi-weekly labor reports to the HR Manager
• Maintain complete confidentiality of employee information.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Understanding company policies and how they pertain to payroll.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience with labor reporting systems KRONOS and/or ADP
• Attention to detail- and critical thinking skills.
